Instructional Technology
This page is for MCHS faculty (and other educators) who are looking for links to current trends and ideas using technology to enhance the classroom experience for teacher as well as student. In the right hand column, I will link some useful sites/wikis/articles, etc. that you may find you can use in your classroom. It will be updated frequently, so check back often.

Links to Ideas
Weebly: Weebly is one of the most user friendly website creation software sites I have found. If you click the link it will take you to the Weebly homepage. Once there, click on "education" at the top and create an account. They have a couple video tours for you to watch, or if you choose, dive right in and make your site.
Diigo in Education: Diigo is a social bookmarking site to which almost 20,000 users contribute. There are links to ideas for almost any type of classroom or type of activity you could be looking for. It updates frequently. If you find it useful, sign up for a free Diigo account and join the group to received an email when the page is updated. Google Docs Tutorial Webquest: This is a webquest that will walk a beginning user through the basics of Google Docs. If you are not using this in the classroom, I would personally recommend you begin. |
